Resumen
Este artículo tiene como objetivo contextualizar los pensamientos de Ulrich Beck, Sociedad del Riesgo, en relación con el precario trabajo digital en Purwokerto, Java Central, Indonesia. Los datos se obtuvieron a través de métodos mixtos que involucran cuarenta fuentes de datos que realizan trabajos digitales precarios en los sectores de apps de transporte y freelance. El hallazgo de este artículo es que la Sociedad del Riesgo puede contextualizarse a través de la modernización del mundo laboral mediante la economía gig y el trabajo digital. Además, la Modernidad también crea tres trampas en forma de descalificación en la realidad del trabajo digital, generando alienación en las plataformas y dependencia de algoritmos. Por último, la Modernidad también reduce el papel del estado cuando no se acompaña de una naturaleza reflexiva.
