DECLARATION AND PERMISSIONS

These are a series of statements and permissions voluntarily and freely submitted with the purpose of finalizing a publication in the serial publication of social research, "Revista nuestrAmérica" (hereinafter THE JOURNAL), ISSN 0719-3092, edited in the city of Concepción, Chile, by Ediciones nuestrAmérica desde Abajo. It is voluntary and free in the sense that the author has chosen to submit to the journal, knowing its editorial policy, regulations, and requirements publicly available at https://revistanuestramerica.cl, under the "Editorial Info" tab.

The manuscript in question is referred to as follows:

DECLARATIONS (All these statements are a mandatory minimum to process the article)

☐ This is an original unpublished work that has never been published by another journal or in a book and will not be submitted to another journal or book during the evaluation process of Revista nuestrAmérica.

☐ I/We own the intellectual property of this work and am/are in a position to make this submission. I understand that incurring a fault, even unintentionally, will make me/us responsible, and I will be receptive to solutions that can be sought with THE JOURNAL.

☐ I declare that I am aware that THE JOURNAL evaluates with a single-blind peer review process. I also declare that I am familiar with and respect the editorial policies and ethical regulations of THE JOURNAL. I will have a receptive, collaborative, and mutually respectful attitude during the peer review process.

☐ I declare that I am aware that, if my submission is approved for publication in THE JOURNAL, the preprint version/s submitted will also be published. I am also aware that before or during the publication period, I have the right to publish my manuscript as a preprint on any public server for this purpose, such as Zenodo, SciELO Preprints, HAL, socArxiv, Preprints.org, OSF Preprints, institutional repositories, among others recognized that provide persistent links (doi) and do not allow the withdrawal of preprints after publication (publications on social media are not accepted as preprints).

☐ I declare that I am aware and accept that THE JOURNAL publishes exclusively with a Creative Commons BY NC SA 4.0 license: attribution, non-commercial, share alike, international, and all that this type of license implies and allows.

PERMISSIONS FOR PUBLICATION (These permissions are mandatory to process the article)

☐ I grant permanent non-exclusive publication permissions to THE JOURNAL to publish this work in my/our name in both THE JOURNAL—identified as Revista nuestrAmérica (ISSN 0719-3092)—and in other current or future journals that may exist to expand the reach of THE JOURNAL nuestrAmérica (ISSN 0719-3092). This exclusively includes coordinated publications administered by THE JOURNAL for: 1) monographic compilation and 2) translation into other languages, even if this implies a change in the license used; in such a case, it will be mentioned somewhere visible that the work has a version published with a CC BY NC SA 4.0 license, and a persistent link will be provided to access it.

I/we reserve the right to retain personal publication rights to the identified work to use it in any future publication without requiring any permission, even changing the usage license; in such a case, I/we will mention somewhere visible that the work has a version published with a CC BY NC SA 4.0 license, and I/we will provide a persistent link to access it.

I understand that this publication permission is a partial non-exclusive assignment of my publication rights, which are generally ceded in full to journals, losing the possibility of future reuse. In this case, I understand that THE JOURNAL's model protects the interests of both the authors and THE JOURNAL itself, ensuring free use between both parties. Similarly, I understand that in the future, I cannot revoke this permission from THE JOURNAL.

For all purposes, the author(s) will have the right to object to the journal to any publication if they consider reasonably that a practice affecting their name and reputation has occurred. In this case, a formal letter demanding a retraction along with all valid arguments must be presented; in such a case, THE JOURNAL will convene an ethics committee that has the right to reject this objection if there have not been sufficient arguments and evidence presented.

☐ I accept that during the peer review and editorial review processes, my manuscript may be modified to comply with THE JOURNAL's regulations, including the modification of my citations and reference tables in cases where I have used them incorrectly.

ADDITIONAL DECLARATIONS AND PERMISSIONS (None of these are mandatory)

Your manuscript has a published preprint version: yes ☐, no ☐. Please provide a doi if applicable: place the doi here.

Do you want THE JOURNAL to manage the publication in your name of your manuscript as a preprint during the peer review process—this is different from the mandatory publication that is done in cases where the manuscript is accepted for publication in THE JOURNAL—considering that there is a possibility that your manuscript may not be accepted by THE JOURNAL and that publication on a preprint server is irreversible: yes ☐, no ☐.

JOURNAL COMMITMENTS

THE JOURNAL commits to treating the submitted manuscript with all seriousness and responsibility, complying with our ethical regulations, and always seeking to contribute to the improvement of the published manuscript. THE JOURNAL commits to maintaining a respectful attitude and being receptive to the authors. THE JOURNAL commits to constantly seeking to improve the means of publication, dissemination, and preservation of published articles.

COLLABORATIVE REWARD (not mandatory)

I would agree to be part of a list of possible collaborators in future peer review processes, as well as later being identified as a reviewer for THE JOURNAL. It is necessary to have completed a postgraduate degree (mandatory requirement). This activity is carried out pro bono, and if accepted, you will commit to conducting a minimum of two reviews per year (one per semester). If you accept, please add the name of the person accepting; we will then contact you to finalize this collaboration.
