Abstract

The present article aims to present some reflections on the relationship between indigenous peoples and ICT, focusing on the case of the Embera Chamí community in the municipality of Pueblo Rico, Risaralda and its relationship with new technologies, its social uses and appropriations. Approached from the theoretical-methodological approach of the Social Representations, the article presents methodological contributions to the field with the purpose of reconstructing the phenomenon from those involved and their daily experiences.
