Regarding file storage and metadata harvesting

Anyone can use the journal's files and metadata to be stored in databases, institutional repositories, or personal repositories. The journal allows simultaneous publication in self-archiving systems. In all these cases, it must be done in accordance with the license of our publications.

If you wish to harvest our editions, please use the OAI-PMH address: https://nuestramerica.cl/ojs/index.php/avances/oai

Digital file preservation

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among collaborating libraries, which allows them to create permanent archives of the journal for conservation and restoration purposes. The journal also utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) preservation system, which preserves the metadata and galleys of the journal.

Additionally, the journal deposits all its native OJS XML files in the Preservica database (from SHERPA). Its galleys are also deposited in Zenodo and the Internet Archive.
